SUMMARY:

A Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining current client companies though positive relationships with clients. Business Development Managers can work inside the office making telephone calls to potential clients and they can also work outside the office, paying visits to clients in person. The Business development manager must possess and demonstrate a high-level of professionalism and customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Identifies prospects using tools such as online business journals, associations, Chambers of Commerce and by attending networking functions

· Prepare presentation and marketing materials

· Maintains prospect charts and follow-up calendars

· Responsible for the generation of sales proposals

· Responsible for collections of invoices submitted to the client company

· Conduct quality control audits/visits with clients

· Responsible for developing and maintaining a monthly log of activities.

· Generates weekly clients and prospect status reports for corporate

· Responsible for all client communication and conflict resolutions (check voicemail and email)

· Resolve client issues in an efficient manner, informing the corresponding parties of any problems that may arise

· Assist in the distribution of payroll checks, placing checks in envelopes, and delivering if needed

· Manage multiple calendars, schedule meetings, interviews and phone screens

· Follow Injury/Illness procedures when a work-related accident occurs

· Attend Job fairs as needed

· Assist in providing consistent communication with in house staff to effectively meet the clients needs.

· Conduct weekly visits to UES offices and client site

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED, College preferred (or relevant experience equivalent)

Computer literate, with experience in Excel and Word and PowerPoint

Prior Sales experience

Strong Organizational skills

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)

Ability to communicate in Spanish desirable (but not required)

Ability to communicate in English (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Moreno Valley, CA 92551: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
